When we were building our house, one of the things that I really wanted our house to have was a front porch. I didn’t need a huge one (although it would be nice,) I just wanted a place to sit and watch the kids play in the front yard. (I have to be totally honest with you, I don’t use it as much as I want to because I feel like I am playing with the kids, picking weeds, cleaning out the van or garage, mowing the lawn, etc. I didn’t realize how much work it takes to maintain a home!) But I still really love our porch and I wanted to show you how I decorated it (for cheap!)
Let’s start with the chairs, I got those for $20 each but they sell for $80 each so that was a deal! And the are super cute!
I got the tables at a garage sales for just a couple of dollars each. I painted them black, of course!
The candle holder is Southern Living, but I got it from a garage sale for $6!
We changed up the lights. Those were from Home Depot. Even though they were on clearance, they were still $80 each but I LOVE THEM!!!! I also waited a year to buy them because I wanted to see if I still liked them and I DID!
We also splurged on our door knob, but again, I really LIKED this one!
I bought those planters for $15 each at a garage sale and I LOVE those too! I got the plants in them at a different sale. I still need to “plant” them, hee hee! I didn’t want real ones because I am not that good at watering them. (Shh, it’s kinda embarrassing!)

I got the grass and flower pot from my Mother-in-Law for FREE!
I just bought these candle holders at a garage sale for like $3. I still need to clean these up and put new candles in it. (And maybe shells too!)
